Following that crash, Hondo Ohnaka, the space pirate with a delightful excess of personality, rebuilt the ship, and by The Empire Strike Backs, Boba still had Slave I, using it to bring the frozen Han Solo off to Jabba the Hutt.Īfter Boba landed in the Sarlacc pit at the start of Return of the Jedi, the status of Slave I was left in question. In that show, Boba learned how to be a bounty hunter from the infamous Aurra Sing, who later crashed Slave I.
Later, following Jango's death, Boba took control of the ship, and he was seen using it during The Clone Wars animated series. A heavily customized Firespray-31 class patrol ship, Slave I originally belonged to Jango Fett before his death in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
